One of the things that a lot of people forget is that movie stars routinely had dresses designed for them by in studio designers such as Edith Head. Head, the director of fashion for Paramount, then for the rest of her career at Universal. She was responsible for designing for films ranging from musicals to the cool blonde look found in Hitchcock movies.What may surprise a lot of people, is that Grace Kelly's entire wedding trouseau shown here, was designed and sewn by the costume masters at MGM.
